and then she snapped: Fort Casey: Whidbey Island, WA

Fort Casey: Whidbey Island, WA

While we were on Whidbey Island this weekend I went with the boys to visit Fort Casey.  The boys wanted to climb stuff.
I just wanted to take pictures of the climbing and the stuff.
Aside from it being the beginning of July, based on weather alone it easily could have been November. Seriously, it was freezing, and started raining right as I we decided it was time to go.

I made the mistake of not bringing any extra lenses, so all of these were shot with my 50mm f1.8, which was fine, but I would have preferred a wider angle on some of my shots. Oh well, live and learn!

  3. I love old places like this - one of the perks of living in New England is that there are tons of historic buildings and places! A great series of shots - my fave is the profile of dad and son concentrating on something together!
