and then she snapped: show off your shot

show off your shot

I just wanted to thank you all for linking up on a Monday last week...I know the change of date may have thrown some of you, but I appreciate you just rolling with it! I think Mondays will work better once everybody gets used to it!

Charlie got this balance bike for Christmas. Look, ma, no pedals! Supposedly it makes it easier to teach kids to ride a bike (without training wheels) because they learn to balance before they learn to pedal. So far though, Charlie just strides the top tube and walks with it.  Regardless, he loves to "ride my bike, mommy!" And today was dry and 50 degrees so he did just that! So I dusted off the camera, took it outside and snapped a few pictures. I don't know if it's his age, or what, but I can NEVER get a picture of him looking at me anymore. He is way too busy to be bothered with looking at a silly old camera!

Won't you join me and show off your shot...it's easy!
1) Pick your favorite shot of the week, or one that you otherwise feel like "showing off".
2) Show it off!

That's it!

and then, she {snapped}

  1. I love the balance bikes, I agree they are much better for kids. In London all the toddlers had them and seemed to do well. I am hoping to get one for my son soon. And you are right, he just can't be bothered to look at you, he's busy trying to ride! Happy biking!

  3. I love it! I'd never heard of a balance bike, but it's a great idea. Also, my Parker has that same helmet! You have to love Eric Carle!

  4. Do they really work better than bikes with training wheels? Especially if they just walk around with them? I bet AJ would totally dig one.

  7. How can he look so big kid?? When Charlie looks big-kid... it is like a double reminder on how big these crazy toddlers are getting.

  9. He's so cute! I've never heard of a balance bike before but that would make sense that it would be better at teaching a kid to ride bike rather than using training wheels.

  10. Cute shot. Balance bikes sound hard for new riders though.
